The Comox Strathcona Waste Management (CSWM) service have applied to amend our Operational Certificate 2401 at the Campbell River Waste Management Centre (CRWMC), sited at 6700 Argonaut Road, Campbell River, BC. These amendments are related to steps that we must take to close the landfill and include infrastructure to support that closure. The amendments will also ensure that we are in compliance with updated provincial regulatory requirements.
We have included for the CRWMC:
Existing 2003 Operational Certificate 2401;
Draft amended operational certificate;
Draft Site Plan A;
Environmental Protection Notice and Notice of Intent from Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy.
Any person who may be adversely affected by the amendment of this operational certificate and wishes to provide relevant information may send written comments to the Director, Environmental Protection, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy by email to Authorizations.South@gov.bc.ca. The identity of any respondents and the contents of anything submitted in relation to this application will become part of the public record. A copy of any comments submitted should also be sent to Andrew McGifford, Senior Manager of CSWM Services.
