The Comox Strathcona Waste Management (CSWM) team is mourning the loss of a well respected colleague due to a non-work-related matter. In honour of his memory, the Cumberland facility will be open on Saturday, September 28, from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, with closure from 12:00 noon to 5:30 pm to allow staff to attend the celebration of life of a valued and long-term team member. Regular hours will resume at 8:00 am Sunday, September 29.
“We appreciate your understanding as we take the time to mourn and honour our colleague, who made significant contributions to our team. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your compassion and support during this time,” explains Vivian Schau, Senior Manager of CSWM Services.
