  • Going Zero Waste at Home: This presentation will take you through practical steps you can implement immediately in your life to drastically reduce the amount of waste your household produces and sends to the landfill. Our community educator will lead you through the 7-step zero waste hierarchy from Rethink to Recycle, including organics diversion.
  • Recycling – what goes where and how to set up your home recycling system: This presentation will provide an overview of what goes where, why it’s important to divert as much waste as possible and what happens to our recycling once it leaves our homes. This information can be combined with other presentation topics and customized.
  • Waste free for the holidays: Did you know waste increases by 25% over the holidays? This presentation will leave you confident that you can enjoy the holidays without filling your garbage can or recycling bin.
  • Backyard Composting: Don’t have access to curbside organics collection? We can help find the right solution for you. From worm composting to tumblers to building your own composter, we will go through the pros and cons of all options.
